Karen Blair Financial Planning Specialist

Karen Blair, CFP® is a Financial Planning Specialist at Cassaday & Company, Inc., and has been with the firm since September 2022.

Karen works alongside the Senior Partners of the firm to provide clients with comprehensive and proactive service. Specifically, she engages with clients to stay informed of their evolving needs and circumstances and works to identify relevant planning opportunities.

She works collaboratively to develop high-level analyses in the areas of retirement, education, tax, insurance, and estate planning. Her other responsibilities include reviewing investment allocations and preparing essential reports for the ongoing management of client accounts. She also assists with the onboarding of new clients.

Karen graduated from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech) and holds a Bachelor’s degree in finance with a concentration in financial planning and a Bachelor’s degree in management. While at Virginia Tech, Karen was a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) student chapter. Karen is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®), a professional designation she attained through Virginia Tech’s CFP Board Registered Program. She also holds the Series 7 and Series 66 securities registrations.

In her spare time, Karen enjoys exploring the DC area and watching DC sports and Virginia Tech football. Originally from Roanoke, Virginia, Karen now in Arlington, Virginia.

Karen is an investment advisor representative with Cassaday & Company, Inc., and a registered representative with Osaic Wealth.
