Maya Monsour Financial Planning Assistant

Maya Monsour is a Financial Planning Assistant in the Financial Planning Department at Cassaday & Company, Inc., where she has been contributing since July 2024. 

In her role, Maya collaborates closely with Financial Planner Riley Saunders and works under the guidance of Christopher Krell. She supports advisors by assisting with client meetings, onboarding new clients, and preparing comprehensive financial reports, ensuring a smooth and efficient client experience. 

Maya graduated from Virginia Tech with a bachelor’s degree in Finance, concentrating in Financial Planning. During her time there, she was an active member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) student chapter, which helped shape her passion for helping individuals achieve their financial goals. 

Outside of work, Maya enjoys spending time with family and friends, crocheting, playing Just Dance on the Wii, and being the most competitive player on local intramural sports teams. She grew up in Roanoke, VA, and now calls Arlington, VA home.
