Rahim Muhammad, CFP®, is the Director of Financial Planning at Cassaday and Company, Inc., where he has served since August 2025. He leads the financial planning department, overseeing a team of professionals who support the firm’s advisors and clients with comprehensive, personalized financial strategies. 

In his role, Rahim is responsible for department leadership, advisor support, and strategic development of financial planning services. He manages training, performance, and career development for a team of 10+ planners, ensuring excellence in client service and technical expertise. He also drives innovation in planning processes, technology integration, and regulatory compliance, while collaborating with senior leadership to align planning initiatives with firm-wide goals. 

Rahim brings over 15 years of experience in wealth management, working with high-net-worth individuals and families. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and holds an MBA in Personal Financial Planning from Indiana Wesleyan University, along with a BBA in Finance from Temple University. Prior to joining Cassaday and Company, Rahim held advisory and leadership roles at Morgan Stanley, Charles Schwab, and JPMorgan Chase. 

A passionate mentor, Rahim is committed to developing the next generation of financial professionals. He currently serves as Executive in Residence for Wealth Management at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business, where he supports academic and career development for students pursuing careers in finance. 

Outside of work, Rahim enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends. He currently lives in Ellicott City, Maryland with his wife and two kids. 

Rahim is an investment advisor representative with Cassaday & Company, Inc., and a registered representative with Osaic Wealth, Inc.
