Cassaday & Company, Inc., has been named on the ‘Best Places to Work’ list by the Washington Business Journal for 2023. This is the 15th time our firm has appeared on this list. This year, Cassaday & Co. ranked 9 out of 25 in the large company category, with a total of 75 companies appearing on the full list. In previous years, our firm has ranked in the medium size company category, rising from #25 in 2016, to #10 in 2017, #7 in 2018, and #4 in 2019. In 2020, Cassaday & Co. was ranked #1 in the large-size company category (50-249 employees) out of 30.

The Washington Business Journal’s annual Best Places to Work program honors 75 Greater Washington companies that scored highest among hundreds of employers that participated in Omaha, Nebraska-based Quantum Workplace’s annual employee engagement survey. The Best Places to Work results are quantitative, based on survey responses from employees themselves, rather than a panel of outside judges. The survey evaluates important factors including employee trust in leadership, team effectiveness and dynamics, retention, and more. Cassaday & Co.’s consistent ranking on this list is a testament to the unique culture that Steve Cassaday sought to create when he founded our firm in 1993. All employees are encouraged to think like owners, and management maintains an open-door policy, allowing employees to collaborate and express thoughts freely. This culture motivates our team to provide our clients with unparalleled dedication and service. Employees consistently share on our annual staff survey that they are proud to work at Cassaday, and together look forward to pursuing our firm’s vision of being the most competitive choice for people seeking guidance on their wealth management decisions.

Award Disclosures:

For the Washington Business Journal Best Places to Work program, employees of nominated companies are asked to complete an employee engagement survey. Companies are ranked and finalists are chosen in each size category according to their overall engagement score. Overall number of responses is also factored into the engagement score. Winners are chosen 100% based on the results of the survey and in essence by the employees themselves. Cassaday & Co. did not compensate WBJ for this award.
