Alex Fuentes Financial Planning Assistant

Alex Fuentes is a Financial Planning Assistant in the Financial Planning Department at Cassaday & Company, Inc., where he has been a team member since July 2025. 

In his role, Alex works on Senior Partner Christopher Krell’s team. He supports advisors by assisting in client meetings, onboarding new clients, and preparing comprehensive financial planning reports, facilitating a smooth and efficient client experience.  

Alex graduated from Virginia Tech with a bachelor’s degree in finance, with a concentration in financial planning. During his time at Virginia Tech, Alex was an active member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) student chapter, where he served as treasurer. This experience helped cultivate his desire to help individuals achieve their financial goals.  

Outside of work, Alex enjoys working out, playing and watching soccer, listening to all types of music, and spending time with friends and family. Alex grew up in Manassas, Virginia, which he continues to call home.
