Dan Sharkey Associate Portfolio Manager

Dan Sharkey, CFA, is an Associate Portfolio Manager and joined the firm in March 2020.

Dan supports the Investment Management & Research team by preparing and participating in Investment Policy Committee meetings, monitoring and assessing individual investment managers and asset allocations, and conducting ongoing research on markets and investments. Although he is a generalist, he specializes in fixed income, alternatives, and quantitative analysis.

Dan has worked in the investment management industry since 2013. Prior to joining Cassaday & Company, Inc., he was a Senior Securities Valuation Analyst for a global investment services company. Dan also has his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.

Dan is a graduate of Loyola University, where he received his Master of Business Administration in finance, and University of Maryland, where he received his Bachelor of Arts. He currently resides in Baltimore, MD.
