Josh Lipscomb Financial Planning Associate

Josh Lipscomb, CFP®, is a Financial Planning Associate at Cassaday & Company, Inc., having joined the firm in June 2025.

Josh works directly with partners Sean Gallahan and Andrew Malay, collaborating closely with clients to help meet their financial planning goals. His responsibilities include preparing meeting materials, actively participating in client meetings, developing financial plans, and supporting complex strategies across retirement, estate, investment, and tax planning.

Josh is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® (CFP®)*, a professional designation he attained through the Northwestern University Certificate in Financial Planning Program. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from James Madison University. Prior to joining Cassaday & Company, Inc., Josh worked as an Associate Financial Advisor at a boutique wealth management firm in the DMV area.

Outside the office, Josh enjoys hiking, cross-training, cooking, exploring new places with his family, and staying involved in his local church. Originally from South Hill, Virginia, he now resides in Leesburg, Virginia, with his wife, Christian.

Josh is an investment advisor representative with Cassaday & Company, Inc., and a registered representative with Osaic Wealth, Inc.
