Justin Harris, CFP®, CMFC®, is a Senior Partner at Cassaday & Company, Inc. and has been with the firm since 1998. Justin works collaboratively with his clients to help them make important life decisions, set financial goals, and plan for the future. By embracing a model of integrated wealth management, he addresses all of the relevant areas of personal finance including investment management, taxes, wealth accumulation, cash flow generation, insurance, and estate planning to generate comprehensive financial plans for his clients.

In addition to his responsibilities as Senior Partner, Justin is the Secretary Treasurer of Cassaday & Co., providing oversight and guidance while directing the high-level financial decisions of the firm.

He also serves as the Vice Chairman of Cassaday’s Investment Policy Committee (IPC), which develops the firm’s overall investment selections and policies. Justin assists with collaboratively reviewing our clients’ holdings and asset allocations, market conditions, research studies, economic analyses, and other areas relevant to the investment process. During his tenure at Cassaday & Co., Justin has also held the positions of Senior Vice President as well as Director of Research, where he was responsible for refining the research process that is still practiced by the firm today.

Justin is a graduate of Randolph-Macon College and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®)*, a professional designation he attained through Georgetown University’s Executive Certificate in Financial Planning program. He also received his Chartered Mutual Fund Counselor (CMFC®) designation through the College for Financial Planning.

Outside of Cassaday & Company, Inc., Justin formerly served on the Finance and Investment Committee for HopeLink Behavioral Health (formerly PRS, Inc.), a non-profit organization which provides counseling, skills training, and support to individuals living with mental illness, substance use disorders, and mild intellectual disabilities.

Justin is a native of Alexandria, Virginia, where he currently lives with his wife Kerri, daughter Carter, and sons Walker and Landon.

Advisor Hub 250 Advisors to Watch – Over $1B (2026) – The Advisor Hub 250 Advisors to Watch – Over $1B ranking was issued by Advisor Hub on June 16, 2026, for the prior two-year period (2024–2025). The financial professional applied for the recognition. Advisors considered for the award were required to have a minimum of seven years of experience, at least two years with their current firm, a minimum of $150 million in assets under management, and a clean regulatory record consisting of two or fewer complaints and no significant judgments. Winners were selected based upon the size and makeup of their practice, year-over-year growth, and professionalism. More than 250 individuals were considered for this honor and 250 advisors were selected. Cassaday & Co. did not pay a fee for nomination, receipt, or promotion of the award.

Forbes Best-In-State Wealth Advisors (2020–2021, 2023–2026) – The Forbes Best-In-State Wealth Advisors ranking was issued by Forbes and SHOOK Research in June 2026. Advisors considered for the ranking were required to have a minimum of seven years of experience. Winners were selected based upon an algorithm of qualitative and quantitative criteria obtained through telephone, virtual, and in-person due diligence interviews. The methodology considered factors including revenue trends, assets under management, compliance records, industry experience, and best practices in serving clients. Portfolio performance was not a criterion due to varying client objectives and the lack of audited performance data. Cassaday & Co. did not pay a fee for nomination, receipt, or promotion of the award.

Investment News Top Financial Professionals in the US (2024–2026) – The Investment News Top Financial Professionals in the US ranking was issued by Investment News in February 2026. Investment News solicited nominations from advisors, industry professionals, and clients for consideration. Winners were selected based upon a weighted ranking of overall assets under management, assets under management growth, and client growth. Investment News tabulated rankings within each category and combined those scores to determine each advisor’s final ranking on the Top Financial Professionals list. No clients were contacted as part of the selection process. Cassaday & Co. did not pay a fee for nomination, receipt, or promotion of the award.

Northern Virginia Magazine Top Financial Professionals (2023–2025) – The Northern Virginia Magazine Top Financial Professionals recognition was issued by Northern Virginia Magazine in September 2025. Financial associations throughout Northern Virginia were invited to nominate financial advisors in various professional categories for consideration. Winners were selected based upon receiving the highest number of nominations from participating financial associations. Cassaday & Co. did not pay a fee for nomination, receipt, or promotion of the award.

REP. Magazine Top 50 NextGen Independent Broker-Dealer Advisors (2015) – The REP. Magazine Top 50 NextGen Independent Broker-Dealer Advisors ranking was issued by REP. Magazine in April 2015. REP. Magazine solicited nominations from the 30 largest independent broker-dealers by headcount, as identified through Cerulli Associates research. Advisors were considered and ranked exclusively based upon total assets under management. Winners were selected according to total assets under management among eligible nominees. Cassaday & Co. did not pay a fee for nomination, receipt, or promotion of the award.
