Rachel Boyell Chief Investment Officer

Rachel Boyell, CMFC®, CIMA®, is Chief Investment Officer at Cassaday & Company, Inc., where she has been a key member of the firm since 2014. She leads the firm’s Investment Management, Trading, and Investment Data teams, overseeing portfolio construction, implementation, and the analytical infrastructure that supports investment decision-making across the firm.

In her role, Rachel monitors the global economic and market environment with a particular focus on the development, oversight, and ongoing evaluation of Cassaday & Company, Inc.’s model portfolios. She also chairs the firm’s Investment Policy Committee, guiding a group of senior professionals responsible for establishing investment selections, asset-allocation frameworks, and long-term portfolio strategy—ensuring all decisions are rigorously vetted before being implemented across client portfolios.

Prior to joining Cassaday & Company, Inc., Rachel worked as a Research Associate at a Washington, D.C.–area investment consulting firm, where she supported institutional clients including colleges and universities, nonprofit organizations, and foundations.

Rachel earned her bachelor’s degree from James Madison University, majoring in global justice and history with a minor in music. She resides in Falls Church, Virginia.

Rachel is an Investment Advisor Representative with Cassaday & Company, Inc. and a Registered Representative with Osaic Wealth, Inc.; she holds the Series 7 and Series 66 securities registrations.
