Steven Ulrich Senior Vice President

Steven Ulrich, MBA, CFP®, ChFEBC℠, is a Senior Vice President at Cassaday & Company and has been with the firm since 2017. Steven works collaboratively with clients to develop a comprehensive financial plan that helps them achieve their long-term goals. Through a model of integrated wealth management, Steven assists clients in navigating various aspects of personal finance, including investment management, retirement planning, wealth accumulation, cash flow generation and management, taxes, estate planning, and insurance planning. 

Steven is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™* practitioner, a professional designation he attained through Northwestern University’s School of Professional Studies certificate program in financial planning. 

Additionally, Steven is a Chartered Federal Employee Benefits Consultant (ChFEBCSM), a specialization that focuses on retirement benefits, including CSRS, FERS, and the Thrift Savings Plan (TSP). He earned his Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in financial management from Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina. 

The Alexandria Chamber of Commerce has named Steven a 40 Under 40 honoree for 2020. This program was created to celebrate 40 outstanding leaders and innovators who either live or work in Alexandria, Virginia. The Chamber’s selection committee reviewed professional accomplishments, scholastic achievements, and community impact when making their decisions. Outside of Cassaday & Company, Inc., Steven is an active member of his church in Washington D.C. and enjoys spending time around Alexandria, where he lives with his wife and three children. As a North Carolina native, Steven is an avid UNC basketball fan and also follows English soccer, which has become a Saturday morning tradition with his family. 

Steven is an Investment Advisor Representative with Cassaday & Company, Inc. and a Registered Representative with Osaic Wealth, one of the largest independent broker-dealer firms in the country. He holds the Series 7 and Series 66 securities registrations, as well as Life and Health Insurance licenses.
