Waleed Bississo Chief Operating Officer

Waleed Bississo, Ed.D., is Chief Operating Officer at Cassaday & Company, Inc. and has been with the firm since August 2025. Waleed oversees operational strategy, infrastructure, and execution to support the firm’s growth and client service excellence. He leads firmwide operations, resource planning, process improvements, risk management, and business continuity to drive innovation and sustainable growth while ensuring every operational decision supports what is best for clients.

Waleed brings over 20 years of leadership in financial services, strategic planning, and operational transformation. His background includes initiatives in budget management, technology adoption, and organizational development. Most recently, he served as Operations Executive at the Bank of America Academy, the company’s training entity serving over 200,000 employees annually. He also championed operational excellence initiatives that saved 50,000 work hours in 2024 and maintained a 100% associate satisfaction rating for seven years.

Throughout his career, Waleed has demonstrated excellence in employee engagement and organizational development. His innovative approach to capturing and acting on employee feedback has been instrumental in creating best practices for employee engagement and enhancing client experience.

Waleed is passionate about mentoring the next generation of leaders. In 2015, he co-founded Next Level Community Impact, through which he mentors 15 high school students annually and trains over 1,000 students per year on customer service, leadership, conflict resolution, and entrepreneurship in Charlotte, NC, and Washington, DC.

Waleed earned a Doctorate in Organizational Change and Leadership from the University of Southern California in 2024, and holds an MBA and Master of Science in Marketing from Johns Hopkins University, earned in 2011 and 2009, respectively. He obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems from George Washington University in 2002.

In his personal time, Waleed is an avid golfer and tennis player and enjoys spending time with family and friends. He and his family currently live in Vienna, Virginia.
