World-renowned investment publication, Barron’s, has ranked CEO Stephan Cassaday one of the top financial advisors in the state of Virginia on its annual ‘Top Advisor Ranking by State’ list. This is the 16th year that Cassaday has been named to Barron’s “State by State” list since the award’s inception in 2009. 

This list is Barron’s largest, most comprehensive ranking that evaluates not only independent advisors but advisors from Wall Street firms as well. On receiving this prestigious honor, Cassaday said, “We are grateful our clients recognize our firm’s distinguishing factors and are honored they continue to place their trust in us.”  

Cassaday has been recognized by several industry leading publications over the past two decades in addition to Barron’s including Forbes, Financial Advisor Magazine, Financial Times, and Washingtonian. Barron’s ‘Top Advisor Ranking by State’ 2024 ranking is based on data provided by more than 6,000 financial advisors nationwide. Advisors are evaluated based on: assets under management, revenue produced for the firm, regulatory record, quality of practice, and philanthropic work. Investment returns are not a component of the rankings because an advisor’s returns are dictated largely by the risk tolerance of clients. The number of advisor rankings per state is determined by a state’s population and wealth.
